Adam Arnold, MA, LAMFT, LADC Artistic Director, blank slate theatre
Adam Arnold, MA, LAMFT, LADC is Founder and Artistic Director of blank slate theatre. He is a psychotherapist practicing in Lowertown Saint Paul, working with individuals and families.
Performance credits include Bloomington Civic Theatre, Paul Bunyan Playhouse, College Light Opera Company (Cape Cod, MA), Heritage Theatre, The Phipps Center (Hudson, WI), Savage Umbrella Theater, and Chanhassen Dinner Theatres. Adam has directed and taught with Boston Ballet, Sabes Jewish Community Center, Omegon, Talmud Torah School, St. Paul Jewish Community Center, Stages Theatre Company, Lex Ham Community Theatre, Amherst H. Wilder Foundation, Beth El Synagogue, Prior Lake High School, and McNally Smith College of Music.
Adam holds a Master of Arts in Counseling & Psychotherapy from Adler Graduate School, and an Addiction Studies Certificate from the University of Minnesota. He is on the Advisory Council for the Interfaith Childrens' Advocacy Network, and is a member of LGBT Therapists Network, the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy as well as the Minnesota Association of Marriage and Family Therapy.

Hannah Steblay Acting Institute Director, blank slate theatre
Hannah Steblay is a freelance children and teen director in the Twin Cities. Occasionally she acts or involves herself in other aspects of theater just to keep her proverbial feet wet. Hannah works primarily for schools, community centers, and youth theater organizations, including Youth Performance Company, blank slate theatre, and Youth Shakespeare Company, of which she is Founder.

Justin Alexander Teaching Artist, blank slate theatre
Justin is the founder of the American Shakespeare Repertory and creator of the Complete Readings of William Shakespeare. He has worked locally with Walking Shadow Theater, Illusion Theater, Starting Gate Productions, Theatre in the Round, Shakespeare and Company, and Dream Machine Productions.

Heidi Arneson Teaching Artist, blank slate theatre
Heidi
Arneson is a multidisciplinary artist, and a recipient of the Bush
Artist Fellowship, the Franklin Furnace Emerging Artist Award, the Loft
Minnesota Writers’ Initiative and the Minnesota State Arts Board Artist
Initiative Grant. She has written and performed numerous one-woman
plays, and performed these as featured artist in venues across the
country, including New York’s Franklin Furnace and Dixon Place,
Playhouse Merced in California, Cleveland Performance Art Festival, Ace
Arts in Winnipeg, The Walker, the Weisman, the Jungle, the Southern and
Red Eye. Her
plays use comedy and honesty to plumb hidden aspects of family,
culture, childhood and adolescence, and her performance workshops
encourage people of all levels and backgrounds to tell their own stories
onstage.

Katia Cardenas Teaching Artist, blank slate theatre
Katia Cardenas is a free-lance teaching artist in the Twin Cities, and graduate of Macalester College, (Psychology Major, Theater minor). She has taught with Stages Theatre Company and Stepping Stone Theatre Company, doing after-school and Community Education classes, as well as various summer camps and acting workshops for students ages 4-14. An active singer, actor, dancer, director and choreographer, Katia is driven by a desire to engage in and create meaningful performance art, that raises awareness around social issues and encourages social consciousness. She is an avid believer in theater for social and personal change; no matter the age of the performer. Katia is excited to be working with blank slate theatre and looks forward to meeting you!

Andrew Sass Teaching Artist, blank slate theatre
Andrew Sass is a professional actor, lending his talents to stage, film, commercial, and voiceover projects in and around the Twin Cities. His career started as a co-founder of The Understudies, The University of Wisconsin's only student-run improv troupe. He has performed improv for seven years, and incorporates the techniques he has learned in every facet of his career.
Andrew teaches Improv! this fall at blank slate theatre.
