Whatever pain, discomfort, or confusion people may be experiencing, they are the creative agents who will heal, and see themselves through life's inevitable messes.
And yet, sometimes we need some assistance: To encourage. To listen. To guide.
I am a licensed psychotherapist practicing in Saint Paul, working with individuals and families.

About me
I am a licensed psychotherapist practicing in Saint Paul, Minnesota. I work with individuals and families in my office in Lowertown, near Mears Park.
I have a Master of Arts in Counseling & Psychotherapy from Adler Graduate School, and Addiction Studies Certificate from the University of Minnesota. I have worked as a counselor in several residential treatment centers, a group psychotherapist in the addiction and domestic violence fields, and a family therapist in private practice.
I am a Licensed Associate Marriage and Family Therapist, a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor, am a member of the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy as well as the Minnesota Association of Marriage and Family Therapy.
I serve on the board of Interfaith Children's Advocacy Network (ICAN). I also serve as Artistic Director for blank slate theatre, a personal growth-oriented theatre for youth.

Contact Info and Fee
• Please call (612-481-2234) or email me to arrange an appointment
• Sessions are 50 minutes for individual or family appointments
• My fee is $75 for a 50 minute session, and is due at the time of service. Sliding fee scale is available for those with limited income
Insurance
• I provide receipts for you to submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement. Please check your coverage to see if it pays for out-of-network providers. The following are some of the benefits of paying out-of-pocket rather than billing insurance companies:
- When you bill your insurance company for therapy, they have the right to request assessment, diagnosis, and treatment information
- As your therapist, I am not obligated to share your treatment information with your insurance company unless you would like them to pay for your treatment
- Paying out-of-pocket allows you and I to determine your treatment plan, not your insurance company
- Some insurance companies may have limits on the number of therapy sessions you can have
- Some insurance companies will not pay for couples and family therapy
- You do not have to meet criteria for a mental health diagnosis to receive therapy
- You have more flexibility in choosing what you would like to focus on during therapy
